Overseas training on afforestation and seedling production in Cambodia
From July 6 to July 12, we visited Cambodia with several people from partner labs to learn about local afforestation and seedling production technologies.
We learned about Cambodia's forestry policy initiatives at the Korea-Mekong Forest Cooperation Center and the Institute of Forest and Wildlife Research and Development. We also visited the Cambodia-Korea Forest Recreational Site, the AFoCO ASEAN-Korea Garden, afforestation sites, and nurseries to see how these projects are implemented.
We also had the opportunity to try various local dishes, explore Cambodia's nightlife and night markets, and visit iconic landmarks such as the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat. This allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the unique charm of Cambodia.
