Prof. James Thorne (UC Davis) visited the lab for a mentoring session in which we discussed current projects and potential collaborations.

He also gave a special lecture on the impact of climate change on California Forests and Woodlands to SNU students.

Afterward, we headed out for Korean BBQ.

Jim capped the evening with a hilarious tale about facing a polar bear.
